What is the Crown Chakra Experience?

What is the Crown Chakra?
In ancient China, the Taoist sages only described the three most important regions of consciousness. In the English language they were talking about the Eye Center region (Shang-Ch’ing), the Crown Chakra region of immortality (T’ai-Ch’ing) and the Heavenly Region of Original Tao consciousness (Yu-Ch’ing).
T’ai-Ching is the crown chakra region of consciousness. It was also referred to as the region of immortality. This is because Taoist monks were known to often physically disappear when they reached this level of consciousness. It was also described as the half-way point between the earthly regions and the heavenly regions; and the first region of multidimensional awareness.
From personal experience, this ancient teaching is absolutely true. In one of my experiences in the crown chakra, I melted into an invisible state and silently watched as another person walked through the place where my physical body used to be. She was looking for me, but she couldn’t see me, or feel me, even when she was standing in the physical location where I was currently meditating. Shortly after that experience, I entered multidimensional awareness.
The ancient Taoists referred to this experience as Ling-Pao enlightenment.
The microcosm of linear (single dimension) human awareness includes all the mind-body and soul-consciousness experiences below the crown chakra. But the crown chakra is the first region of clear awareness in the macrocosm of causal plane and heavenly experiences.
Starting with the causal plane, every (transpersonal) conscious experience happens in multiple dimensions, and or locations, at the same time. The crown chakra experience only happens after years of intense meditation - and a complete detachment from mind-body awareness. The lack of mind-body awareness is the primary cause/factor that enables multi-dimensional awareness.
Maharishi Ramana, likewise, only described the three most important regions, or bodies of consciousness as mind-body awareness, subtle (astral) awareness, and causal plane awareness. He used to say that the source/celestial awareness of the Divine Self (sat-chit-Ananda) created these three lower regions as (fractal) copies of divine awareness.
The Crown Chakra Podcast
The following podcast by Greg Leveille describes Sri Ramana’s commentary and the crown chakra meditation experience in much greater, easy-to-follow, detail.
Some Final Notes
The Crown Chakra experience is a prerequisite step on the path to divine/heavenly consciousness.
The rate of expansion in the heavenly planes is significantly greater in the heavenly regions beyond the crown chakra.
A Jiva (advanced meditator) would never be able to withstand the extraordinary expansion of heavenly clear awareness - without first learning how to rest/abide within the expanding consciousness in the crown chakra experience.
It is also important to point out that many, if not most, modern consciousness and spiritual awareness teachers never mention multidimensional awareness. In many cases, this is simply because they’ve never reached this level of awareness. Every teacher is doing “God’s work;” and thus every teacher will be doing something very precious to different students.
But, if you are inexplicably drawn inward, towards a coherent alignment with the divine presence, and/or if you fell a strong urge-to-merge into divine awareness, then you might want to look beyond teachers who don’t understand or teach multidimensional awareness.
